VG Vangoddy Resistant Digital Camera Bag Case - Multiple Color (for Canon, Fuji, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Nikon, Pentax, Lumix, Kodak, Olympus & all other Compact Digital Cameras - Internal Size: 108x 65 x 20mm)

I really liked this item, but unfortunately the internal measurements (especially the width) were larger than it says in the Heading i.e. not "108x 65 x 20mm". The fabric is also nice & stretchy, so the result was that my camera slipped about inside. It also meant that the case was too bulky to fit in my bag. My advice is to check the separate Product Dimensions [11 x 3 x 7.6 cm] carefully against your camera, & allow for stretch if you want a snug fit for your camera like I did.

Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, the strap supplied is rather poor quality, which is a shame as otherwise the case itself is well made.

The green was slightly less bright than the picture, but it was still a very nice colour.

If I had a bigger camera, or wanted a looser fit, I would have kept this.

VG Vangoddy Resistant Digital Camera Bag Case - Multiple Color (for Canon, Fuji, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Nikon, Pentax, Lumix, Kodak, Olympus & all other Compact Digital Cameras - Internal Size: 108x 65 x 20mm)

Bought this case to protect my daughter's Panasonic Lumix TZ8 from bumps and scratches when in her bag or ruckscak. It's made of neoprene, the zip is okay and sewn on quite well. Not as good a zip as say the Crumpler cases. But at a few pounds cheaper the case is virtually the same quality. The clip attached to the wrist strap is of poor quality, pretty cheapo spring clip. Fortunately she doesn't need it as Panasonic's own wrist strap for the camera is adequate.

The side pocket on the front has space for a spare battery and/or memory card. Altogether pretty good value for the price.

nasonic Lumix TZ20 Digital Camera - Red (14.1MP MOS, 16x Optical Zoom) 3 inch Touchscreen LCD

I bought this item with a certain amount of trepidation in view of some of the reviews online, but I wanted that Leica zoom lens. I need not have worried. The camera is superb in almost every respect. The pictures I get are clear, sharp, colourful and lend themselves easily to printing at A4 (I haven't tried larger as my printer is limited to A4!)without any sign of problems. The zoom range is fantastic for such a small camera and the wide-angle is wider than on most other cameras. The image stabilizer is really useful in windy conditions when you are trying to do a handheld shot standing still, the images are pinsharp. The exposure control for bracketing is really useful, so is the autofocus tracking. Time from switch on to first picture take is very quick and when you press the shutter button it takes the picture, you don't have to wait! I have also tried the movie option and that is good in HD mode and has taken some great clips of model railways in darkish halls at the shows. If you want a downside - the GPS facility, whilst useful is a trifle slow; so you need to give it time to find location before taking a shot - no problem with landscapes, but less useful if you need to make a quick snap. In short BUY IT, in my opinion it is fabulous for a compact camera.

Fujifilm FinePix F600EXR Digital Camera - Red (16MP, 15 x Optical Zoom) 3 inch LCD Screen

I bought this camera while on my way to a Gig at Wembley. I was needing a compact camera capable of taking good low light shots without a flash and I'm glad that after some research I chose this camera.
I normally use a DSLR so my expectations were high but understanding of the limitations using a compact and I frankly was not disappointed. The camera easily took very good photos at the concert and it also provided some decent HD video footage too.
I paid £300 for jessops for this camera in November 2011 but at the same time amazon were selling it for £217, I think "300 was perhaps a little much but £217 is a GREAT price for such a capable little camera.

The camera itself is pretty small for all its able to do. It has a nice big screen on the back and the overall look and build feels good. There is a small rubberized area to allow a better hold on the right hands side which is needed considering the operation of the flash.

On the plus side:
-The photos are nearly as quick to capture as an SLR, making it easier to capture funny pet moments or racing shots.
-The photos are very clear and especially good in low light (I compared the same indoor low light shot with 2 other compacts and my SLR to this one, it was great in comparison!).
-It offers easy ways to attempt more artistic slow shutter / background blur shots (though sometimes this background blur isnt always accurate).
-The battery held out well when I used it at a gig, I'd taken over 400 shots and a 6 minute video with plenty juice to go (no flash mind you).
-The flash is very good for a compact and I found it in no way annoying being a pop up.
-Panoramic mode works well and sweeps for as long as you wish (up to 360)

On the negative side:
-The mode dial is tilted and sometimes I found it had been accidently changed.
-The flash pops up and isnt build in, which I dont mind as it probably explains why the flash is so good compared to other compacts, but sometimes I forgot it was pop up and was puzzled a minute or 2 as to why I couldnt find a flash option LOL (This is just because its new to me and I'll be a pro and remember in future :P).
-The video focus isnt smooth when you're zooming in and out, which isnt a big problem as its quick to refocus again and I didnt find any noise while zooming or anything. [edit: there is a motor noise while zooming, I didnt hear this with a concert being filmed).

As you can see, the negatives for the most part are cosmetic and in no way deter from the fact this camera is very capable.

Overall I'm incredibly impressed with this hand sized gadget. I can even feel confident leaving my DSLR at home often now and using this camera instead.
This possibly is a very small update on the 550, but considering its not far off £200 now, I dont think this is a point worth marking the camera down on, as I see has already happened.
I know its a new camera, but I felt the need to post a review up as reviews by people who dont actually own one aren't helpful.

Photo examples I've taken on the 600exr at the (roxette) concert to show you its ability in this situation. I see many people looking for a good camera to take to gigs, this one could be a serious option :)

Instructions for use were in English but very poor. The spycam did not work properly and did not do as the instructions said it would. When eventually I got it working the quality of sound and picture was very poor quality. There are much better cheaper alternatives available. Very expensive and disappointing quality.

Good little case, but not cheap!

By Peter
I decided that after spending more than £250 on a camera, it would be a false economy to buy a cheap case, so I went for this Lumix-branded one. As with the camera, Panasonic give pride of place to the Lumix name (embossed on the front) rather than Panasonic (on a little grey tag on the back). The case itself is stitched leather, strengthened to make the case semi-rigid to protect your camera better. The interior is the felt-like black material that you often get in good camera cases. A TZ7 fits inside nicely, not so loose that it bangs about, and not so tight that it gets scuffed.

You can't use the camera in the case, like you can with some SLR cases: there's no hole for the lens, so you need to take the camera out of the case to use it. There is a little leather loop to put the camera's camera strap through to keep them together, but the weight of the case flapping about makes it hard to hold the camera steady, so I don't use this. Rather more helpful (if you wear a belt) is the belt-loop, which is just wide enough for a 4cm / 1.5inch belt.

The case is held closed using a magnetic stud, and it can be hard to close the case correctly without looking. It doesn't close in a particularly positive way, but you do get used to it after a little practice. The flap doesn't completely cover the top of the camera, so it wouldn't protect the camera from rain, but it provides good protection against rough handling.

This little gem is fantastic. Very small and compact , packed with bells & whistles. Others have complained that the battery runs out quickly, well, provided you switch off the 'Sat Nav' and only use it when required, no problem.

The 360 degree panoramic facility is great, does need a steady hand though. Images are superb even set on the 'basic' EXR choice.

Re the alleged problem with the battery running down, why not buy a couple of extra batteries at £4.95 each and keep them close at hand, the other major camera makers would be touching £20.00 for their extra batteries!!!

Good quality product, nice feel, hard to beat at the price.
